How the card in a pack is picked, and how you can check your own. Last updated October 29, 2026.

How a card is picked

Each pack's tier rates are on its page. Every card comes from the pack's tiers at those rates.

Before your buy, a secret number for it is locked in and its fingerprint is saved. Your card is picked using that secret number and a number of ours. After the buy, the secret number is revealed, so you can check it matches the fingerprint saved before you paid.

Check your own record

Sign in and open your Account. Your cards link to the record of each buy that has one, and a card's page in your Vault links to its record too. Your records are private: only you can see them.

If something on your record doesn't match, tell us through the contact form.

What a record doesn't show

  • Pack contents change between buys, so the cards a pack holds can differ from one buy to the next.
  • A record doesn't set or guarantee a card's value. Card values change and can be less than the pack price.
  • Not every buy has a record you can open.
  • We may change how cards are picked. When we do, we update this page.
